Additional information: Butterfly Pea is an ancient Thai herb. The leaves, flowers, seeds, and roots are all used as medicinal herbs - but mostly 'Anchan' herbal tea, which is known to assist with boosting immunity, delivering antioxidants, and strengthening hair. The flowers are wild-grown, blooming two to three months after planting. They are harvested in the morning, then left to sun-dry for two days. When infused in hot water, the flowers create an aroma similar to green tea but more woody and earthy to the palate. Add some fresh squeezed lime or lemon juice and the blue shade turns violet.
