Easy Gaiwan 160ml
A rustic easy gaiwan made from Duan Ni clay. You don't have to be an expert at gongfu tea brewing to use it. Simply add loose-leaf tea and water, infuse, then tilt and pour into a fair cup. Being made from porous clay this gaiwan would benefit from seasoning and dedicating to one category of tea. If you don't want to do that, just give it a good hot water rinse between uses. Note: Porous gaiwans improve with age and repeated use.
Best suited to raw pu-erh, oolongs or black tea
Additional Information: Duan Ni (literally, 'fortified clay') is a type of stoneware that was formulated using stones and minerals in addition to yixing clay. This results in various textures and colours, ranging from beige to blue and green to black.
